Who we are
Our Story
Kid Cafe Lakeland was founded by a local mom and teacher who was disappointed with the lack of safe and engaging indoor play areas for her small children. She decided to create her own playground that offers a variety of activities for kids 0 to 4 years old. Our small business prides itself on ensuring all races and religions feel accepted in our spaces. Minority owned, Veteran Owned, and we can't wait to see everyone 😀
Our Team
Our staff is made up of friendly and caring individuals who love working with children. Everyone on our team is dedicated to creating a positive and fun experience for our guests. All trained in CPR and Other lifesaving techniques. We are serious about safety! Our team is dedicated to ensuring our fun spaces are just as clean as they are safe. Every hour our team at Kid Cafe disinfects all spaces (Don't worry, playing times are not affected!). Our ball cleaner does amazing work as well.
Our Philosophy
At Kid Cafe Lakeland, we believe that play is essential for children's physical, emotional, and social development. We strive to create an environment that fosters creativity, curiosity, and confidence early in life.
Kid Cafe is founded by a mom that wanted to make Lakeland more exciting for parents of small children. She dedicated her life to saving our country in the Navy, she substituted for Polk County Public Schools in her free time beacuse she loves to work with kids, and she just wanted a dedicated space ONLY for children under 4 years old. They need safety from bigger kids playing. Our logo is of the founders 2 boys, Cameron and Carter, to which this whole crazy fun idea was inspired.
Our spaces are soft, pleasing to the eye, safe, climate controlled, and exclusive to children under 4 years old. Tea and coffee are always free! Come use our wifi and bring your work to their play! Our cafe is great for studying, working, meetings, etc. Kid Cafe does not serve food products but feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks to our lounge area. We don't serve food due to the known (and unknown!) allergies of our Littlest clients.
